12 – Covid tests, Confidence, Coral

As we begin to prep for the ship everyone is getting excited! Today we took our covid tests. I had to spit into a tube and it was the most disgusting thing ever. I was talking to Captain Sean after class and he told me he would write me a letter of recommendation!! I never even asked him for one so the fact he approached me was pretty cool! Today we also did journal reviews and I got so many compliments on my notes. All of my professors said I have so much confidence in and out of the classroom. CONFIDENCE IS KEY BABY!!! During free time I walked across a slack line (about 20 feet) and I made it to the other side without falling! I have been practicing for a few days and it feels good to accomplish it. After dinner Dr. Heather talked about coral and how they are important to the ocean. My shipmates and I then watched a movie in D house! The movie reminded me of Robin Hood men in tights… it was funny. I CAN’T WAIT TO GO SAILING! I also love all your letters guys ❤
