Today we boarded the SSV Corwith Cramer at 13:20. We settled in and departed the dock at 14:45. This was exciting because I knew my next adventure was going to begin. We cycled through 3 stations to get to know the boat better and understand how things work. My first station we went over how to ease, trim, and cast the sail. The second station was learning about the science lab and the science deck. The last station was how to coil a line! We all ate dinner and it was delicious. We had pasta and pesto with a salad! We played some games on deck to get to know the crew more. After this I made some hot chocolate and drank it with my friend A’Jeana on deck. It was also really good. I sat at the bow with some people looking at the moon. Curtis was playing the guitar as well and it made the vibes great. I am now sitting in bed writing this. But I am also thinking about how I will look back on these entries and remember all the fun times I had.
Ps. The crew is so welcoming and I am excited for my next adventure. I am happy to be here living life to the fullest.
