3 – Gumby suit

Today was such a fun day! We had bagels for breakfast then we went to class. We had oceanography today first and we went to the beach to collect samples of sediments. We then went back to Madden (the lecture hall) and did some stations with Captain Sean about sailing. We got to put on a goofy suit called a Gumby suit! We also learned all the names of the sails on the Cramer. We then went to lunch and had a really good pasta salad!! After that we went to ocean and Society class and it was actually fun. We learned about how people traveled by boat. I found it very interesting. Then during free time we went to the beach!!! The water was so cold but it felt good. Everyone was bonding and we were all throwing a football around. We then went back for dinner and had tomato soup with grilled cheese. Once we were all done cleaning up from dinner we went back to madden and watch “The Octopus Teacher.” Lucy and I ate Oreos during the movie. Then we had study hall; Aiden and I were just listening to music the entire time. After doing homework everyone had parties in different houses. In my house (C House) Aiden, Lucy, Jaime, Ezra, and Anna were over. We were just chillin and we also made tea! The house smelled so good after.  I am now sitting in bed about to fall asleep because I am exhausted.
